@jerivas @climagic I think both could be true, in that we could be seeing the beginning of a shift towards decentralization and that (at least right now) mostly folks like us perceive it to be an advantage with others simply seeking refuge from the Twitter/Musk fallout.

The heroes in teams aren't the ones pulling all-nighters, gambling big and saving everyone at the last minute.
They're the ones who put in the work every day to stop those situations arising in the first place.

@jasongorman I do a lot of iOS (Swift) these days and while Swift Playgrounds sort of gets closer to Pry, it’s still a completely different experience. The editor does have vim mode at least.😀

@jasongorman I agree with sibling that it’s a low friction prototyping tool but can also be used for inspecting and modifying data from from somewhere (DB, etc). Pry is pretty powerful when used with ruby (optionally rails): http://pry.github.io/ and let’s you navigate/page through results of DB data via your domain model. It does a lot more than that, supporting REPL-driven development (loading/saving/running tests and files from SUT in the REPL).
